Digbijay with high hopes
Army Club at Sahid Gate become the melting pot of around one hundred and fifty well wishers and media personnel to mark the debut album launch of a doctor to be Digbijay Khadka. The album was made public by Nepal Army Chief General Rookmangud Katawal in a cordial environment hosted at the Army Club. The program scheduled early but started late with a warm welcome to our Nepal Army Chief. The album has been named Digbijay.
This is a solo album by new artist Digbijay with supporting vocals from Pratima, Sonam and Prakash. Well mannered Digbijay is currently studying M.B.B.S at Nepalgunj Medical College. The album has a total of 9 songs in various genres like pop, lok and patriotic the host of the program informed. All the songs are composed by Subh Bahadur Sonam and various lyricists have given their lyrics for this album. The album is being marketed by Maya Production and was recorded at “Our” studio. The album is priced Rs. 250.
Speaking at the ceremony Chief of Army, Katawal opened up that Music has amazing powers which not only influences humans but everyone who listens to it. Delighted Digbijay elucidated that he is very happy to release his album. He dedicated his album to his grandfather and thanked all the people who helped him release this album specially his family members, friends and well wishers.
A video song from his self titled debut album was also screened for the first time for media. The video was of the song “Sutuka Sutuka” which the singer has vocalized with Pratima KC and he himself has acted in the video as well with female model Neha KC. The singer informed that the video was shot at Trishuli. Finally the new talent requested everyone to buy his album. We wish him all the luck and success for his debut collection.
