Mt. 8848 back with a bang

Mt.8848 climbed the Nepali music charts with their debut album-”Yo Sansar” and are again all set to bang the charts with their second album coming shortly. The band's up coming album’s name is "Jiu ko masu" and the new album will include 10 songs. It’s being recorded at Chromatic Sound Studio,
Anamnagar and is being marketed by Reeyaz music. Jazz, Blues and Nepali Folk are the genres, which the band has worked upon in the new album.

The band is working really hard, with the entire composition, arrangement and lyrics being done by the band itself. Recording is almost finished and the album is hoped to be out within 3 weeks.

After performing in almost all parts of the country, the band is now all focused on their first ever overseas concert, starting from Sikkim. It is going to be their first gig after the release of the second album. Sabin Rai is another popular artist tagging along with Mt.8848 to perform in Sikkim. 

Mt.8848 wowed audience with their first album “Yo Sansar” with hit numbers like “60” and “Maski Maski”. Now they are again back in business after 2 years of break. Darshan Rai, the vocalist stated- “We have hoped that this album would gain more popularity than the earlier one because of the hard work we have put in it and the experience we have under our belt in the midst of those 2 years of break.”
