Phurba Nyshang’s Kathmandu shoot complete

After toiling whole day at NFDC, Balaju, the video shoot of Phurba Nyshang’s “Kathmandu” was completed within a day on Aug 24, 2008. It is from his next album “Anjaan”. His first album was tited “Ma”.

Out of 12 songs from the album, the song “Kathmandu” falls in jhyaure (Nepali folk) RnB genre. The rap piece which is in story telling manner has been vocalized by Sandeep Kumar KC. Besides, he is a professor and along with it a wine expert holding a personal wine and cigar lounge bar. Talking about the music video, the base line is concerned about the Nepalese who set out for America to get well off. The lyric which is in sync with the video strives to portray that people who goes to America also suffers considerably and finally come back to Nepal. The song is mainly focused on youths who have now got the disease of flying aborad.
camera person Sagar Pradhan
Sagar Pradhan has done the camera works in a coherent manner. Regarding post production, Niranjan Shah is handling the editing with Saurav Dhakal covering graphics and direction. With the choreographer Prem Ghalan from “Rogina Nirvana Kala Kendra”, some dance steps has been also filmed in the video. The album is marketed by Santana Records and the music video is more likely to finish within one and a half month. Keep waiting for this good music video.
